Water supply pipe rust and leakage prevention measures for Hotel #HO.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors into hotel water supply piping.

At a certain hotel, #HO, when it was 25 years old, significant red rust corrosion had progressed in the vinyl-lined steel water supply pipes, raising concerns about leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and pipe longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before installing the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the water supply faucet, and after running water for five days, the filter turned brown due to red rust generated inside the water supply pipes, revealing that the iron content captured was 11 mg/l, indicating that the red rust corrosion in the pipes was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before installation, and the captured iron content significantly decreased to 1.3 mg/l. This demonstrated that the red rust inside the pipes had transformed into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. If the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, all red rust inside the pipes will change to black rust, and it has been verified that the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to last until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks will also be completely prevented.

Certain hotel #RF water supply piping red rust and leak prevention measures

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel hot water piping.

At Hotel #RF, which was built 38 years ago, significant red rust corrosion of the vinyl-lined steel water supply pipes had progressed, leading to leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and pipe longevity device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the water supply faucet, and after running water for four days, the filter turned brown due to the red rust that had developed inside the water supply pipes, revealing an iron content of 40 mg/l, indicating that the red rust corrosion in the pipes was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before, and the iron content decreased to 23 mg/l. After six months of installation, the iron content further decreased to 14 mg/l, and the red rust inside the pipes transformed into black rust that does not dissolve in water, proving the rust prevention effect and longevity of the hot water supply pipes. At Hotel #RF, it has been verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water pipes will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to last until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks have been completely prevented since then.

Holiday Inn London, measures to prevent red rust and water leakage in air conditioning piping.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors into hotel air conditioning piping.

The Holiday Inn London, Heathrow is one of the largest hotels in the UK, consisting of 617 rooms, and was built in the 1970s near Heathrow International Airport. The hotel faced serious leakage issues throughout its air conditioning piping due to extensive red rust corrosion, which caused numerous holes in the pipes and resulted in water damage to guest rooms and hallways. To address this, a rust prevention longevity device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed on February 12, 2008. Seven days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the chilled water of the air conditioning system, which was 0.669 mg/l before installation, significantly decreased to 0.017 mg/l, confirming the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector. One year after installation, the iron content in the chilled water dropped to nearly zero at 0.007 mg/l, completely eliminating new leaks, and the red rust in the air conditioning piping transformed to almost 100% black rust, proving that the piping could be extended in lifespan until the building's end of life.

Leakage prevention measures for the air conditioning piping at Hotel #M.

Case study of the introduction of NMR pipe protectors into hotel water supply piping.

At Hotel #M, 21 years after its construction, the galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for the air conditioning chilled and hot water system were experiencing significant red rust deterioration, with a risk of leakage at the pipe joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention pipe longevity device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a water sample was taken from the circulating air conditioning chilled and hot water within the hotel’s piping. The water was brown in color due to red rust inside the pipes, and the total iron content in the water was found to be 28 mg/l, indicating severe red rust corrosion within the pipes. Two weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, another water sample was taken under the same conditions, and the water color had become slightly transparent, with the total iron content reduced significantly to 4.0 mg/l. Six weeks after installation, the water sample showed that the water was almost transparent, and the total iron content further decreased to 1.6 mg/l. It was proven that the progression of red rust within the pipes had completely stopped, and the existing red rust had transformed into an inert black rust that does not dissolve in water, with a volume reduced to one-tenth. At Hotel #M, it has been verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water pipes will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to be extended for the lifespan of the building. Naturally, leakage has been completely prevented thereafter.

Leakage prevention measures for the air conditioning piping at Hotel #T.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors into hotel air conditioning piping.

At Hotel #T, when it was 29 years old, the deterioration of red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping made of galvanized steel (SGP) was very advanced, and leakage was occurring at the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention piping longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a sample of the chilled and hot water circulating in the piping was taken, revealing that the water was brownish due to red rust in the pipes, with a total iron content of 29 mg/l, indicating significant red rust corrosion. Two weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a water sample taken under the same conditions showed that the water was clear, and the total iron content had significantly decreased to 0.2 mg/l. Additionally, a water sample taken under the same conditions four weeks after installation also showed a total iron content of 0.2 mg/l, confirming that red rust deterioration had been completely prevented, and the red rust in the piping had transformed into black rust, which is insoluble in water and occupies one-tenth of the volume. At Hotel #T, it has been verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will change to black rust, allowing the piping to be extended to the lifespan of the building at a cost of less than one-fifth of the piping replacement work. Naturally, leakage has been completely prevented thereafter.

Measures for preventing red rust and water leakage in the hot water supply piping of a certain hotel.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel hot water piping.

At a certain hotel, due to significant red rust corrosion in the hot water supply pipes made of heat-resistant vinyl-lined steel, which had been in use for 31 years, there were concerns about leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and pipe longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the hot water faucet, and after six days of water flow, the filter turned brown due to red rust generated in the hot water pipes, revealing that the iron content captured was 150 mg/l, indicating that red rust corrosion in the pipes was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before, and the captured iron content decreased to 140 mg/l. Two months after installation, the iron content due to red rust further decreased to 17 mg/l, and the red rust in the pipes transformed into black rust that does not dissolve in water, demonstrating the rust prevention effect and longevity of the hot water supply pipes. At hotel #IP, it has been verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled water pipes will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to last until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks have been completely prevented since then.

Measures to prevent red water and leaks in the water supply piping of Legend Hotel Saigon.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel water supply piping.

The Legend Hotel Saigon is a building that is 7 years old and used galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for its water supply piping. Due to the high sulfur content in the water supplied by Ho Chi Minh City, red rust corrosion in the hotel's water supply pipes progressed very quickly, resulting in red water coming from the faucets in guest rooms within 6 to 7 years after completion. There were also concerns about potential leaks in the future. To address the red water issue caused by red rust in the water supply pipes, a pipe replacement was planned, but it was costly and required a water outage, which would necessitate halting hotel operations. Therefore, a rust prevention and pipe longevity device called the "NMR Pipe Protector," which does not require a water outage, was installed by a major Japanese general contractor. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, very dark red water due to red rust was coming from the faucets, but 1.5 months after the installation, the water became almost clear, and complaints from the hotel ceased. The NMR Pipe Protector has stopped the progression of new red rust, and it has been proven that the existing red rust in the pipes has transformed into inert black rust that does not dissolve in water.

Leakage prevention measures for the air conditioning piping at Hotel #P.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel air conditioning piping.

At a certain hotel, when it was 40 years old, the red rust deterioration in the zinc-coated steel pipes (SGP) used for air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was very advanced, and leaks were occurring at the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention pipe extension device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the amount of black rust in the red rust within the hotel's air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was 5.7%. However, six weeks after installation, the amount of black rust increased to 70.8%, which is a relative increase of 1242.1%, proving that the red rust that had developed in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was reduced to black rust. If the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues in the future, all the red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will be reduced to inert black rust with a volume of 1/10, and as long as external corrosion does not occur, leaks from the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will be prevented, extending the lifespan of the building. Naturally, there will be no need to replace the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping.

Leakage prevention measures for the hot water supply piping at Hotel Toyokaku.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the life of hotel hot water piping.

Hotel Toyokankaku is a 42-year-old building, and due to the use of galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for the hot water supply piping, issues such as leaks occurred, leading to frequent partial updates of the piping. However, there was still a serious problem with red water in the hot water supply piping in the guest room bathrooms, so we installed the rust prevention piping longevity device "NMR Pipe Protector." Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron ion concentration in the circulating hot water was high at 4.3 mg/l, but four weeks after installation, the iron ion concentration in the hot water significantly decreased to 1.6 mg/l. Furthermore, eight weeks after installation, it dropped to 0.27 mg/l, completely eliminating the red water. From these results, it was proven that the NMR Pipe Protector converted the red rust in the hot water piping to black rust, preventing the red rust from leaching into the water and reducing the iron concentration due to red rust in the hot water. It was demonstrated that external corrosion was prevented, and by continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, leaks were avoided, extending the lifespan of the hot water piping until the building's lifespan.

Royal Garden Hotel, UK - Measures for preventing red rust and water leakage in air conditioning and hot water piping.

Case studies of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel air conditioning and hot water piping.

The Royal Garden Hotel London, famous as a five-star hotel in London, was built in 1965 and currently has 400 rooms. Due to the iron pipes in the hotel's hot water circulation system, red water was occurring from the taps every morning. To prevent rust and leaks in the pipes and extend their lifespan, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content value due to red rust in the hot water pipes during nighttime was very high at 2.79 mg/l. However, 25 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, it decreased to 0.016 mg/l, and further decreased to 0.013 mg/l 36 days after installation, falling below the water quality standard of 0.2 mg/l set by UK water regulations. This reduction was achieved as the existing red rust in the pipes was reduced to black rust, which is an insoluble volume of 1/10 in water, thereby demonstrating the anti-corrosion effect of the air conditioning and hot water pipes and extending the lifespan of the piping.
